Saw a feisty lion pride and curious elephants up close. The staff were warm, attentive, and knew how to keep the kids engaged.

Our first game lodge experience was mind-blowing! The staff were super friendly, the location was jaw-dropping, and the food and facilities were top-notch. The watering hole was the real highlight, with dozens of wild beasts coming to drink and socialize just yards away from our balcony. The game drives at dawn and sunset were absolutely amazing, and the sundowner cocktail hour in the bush was a romantic touch. The outdoor showers were heavenly, and we felt like we were in a fairy tale with the welcome on our bed. The wildlife at Madikwe was abundant, and the lodge's location right by the water hole meant the animals came to visit us too! We loved every meal, especially the options for Ostrich and Impala. The safari drives were a thrilling adventure, and we even spotted elephants from our balcony. it was a fantastic stay and we can't recommend it enough.

Amazing game viewing with close encounters of elusive leopards and rarely spotted gemsbok. Our guide, Ernest, was exceptional and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The special treatment on my birthday was unforgettable. I highly recommend this lodge for an incredible wildlife experience.

The accommodations were clean and tidy, with lovely and accommodating staff. The midday massages were perfect. The lodge had a very exclusive feel, with a great outdoor area and pool. The main building was beautifully furnished. The staff were lovely and our guide was so knowledgeable and fun. Madikwe reserve provided fantastic wildlife viewing and did not disappoint.

We definitely got our money's worth at Tau Game Lodge. The room was top-notch and the location was absolutely breathtaking. The staff treated us like royalty and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

Hotel breakfast could have been better with more variety.

The rooms had comfortable beds, air-conditioning, and a deck overlooking the watering hole. Meals were included and catered well to vegetarians. Morning and evening game drives with a knowledgeable guide were included. the staff were friendly and attentive, even preparing a special surprise for a wedding anniversary.

We felt very well taken care of, with nothing being too much trouble.
